Just Back: St. Barths

Michael, our VP of Sales, just returned from St. Barths—the epitome of barefoot luxury.

He explored every corner of this idyllic Caribbean atoll, located in the French West Indies, to experience the island’s hidden gems. It is easy to see why A-Listers gravitate to this glamorous setting where the pristine beaches and crystal-clear water marry well with the laid-back mentality and motto, “Toi Là! Je t'aime!”

Mike zipped around this tiny island (11 miles long and only 2.5 miles across) in a rental vehicle (think Mini Cooper convertible or Vespa!)—the best way to explore. It is a breeze to navigate, and your own wheels provide freedom and flexibility.

Despite its French roots, the cuisine draws international flavors from top chefs across the world which cater to the refined pallets that flock to the island’s acclaimed restaurants. Even the seafood shacks serve up freshly caught lobster that pairs perfectly with chilled Rosé and citrusy ceviche with an ice-cold Carib beer. A bonus of these beachside locales is that each bar stool allows you to bury your toes in the sand and delivers stunning views.

At TS we understand the key to life—and the perfect break from it—is balance. This is easily found on this island; perhaps spend your morning at the Rosewood Spa, lunch at Le Toiny, an afternoon stroll at Saline Beach, and your evening taking in a cabaret show at Le Ti. You may opt to find Zen through yoga on the beach to the meditative sound of waves or on a hike to remote Colombier Beach.

Private yacht charters provide exclusive access to secluded coves, natural pools, and protected lagoons where water toys such as stand-up paddleboards, flyboards, and jet skis are put to good use. Fulfill your shopping fix at chic boutiques such as Clic and Lolita Jaca and your culture fix by browsing art galleries or wandering through colonial neighborhoods.

We know where to stay. We know where to eat. We know when to go where. Let TS unveil this adult playground and help you make the most of your time there.
